Digital Media Companies That Have Gotten Funding
I hope to keep adding sites to this post…but all of these companies keep popping up…it might be time to get something going.

“Moqvo, an RSS aggregator aimed at the masses, with a lot of multimedia friendly tools built in, has raised about $1 million in seed funding, and has launched in beta. The firm, based out of Columbus, OH, has about 20 employees…it has traded a one-third equity stake with Columbus-based Ten United, an independent advertising agency, in exchange for brand development, creative and media services.”
“Gusto, a new community-based travel site that connects travelers with each other and with relevant travel information, has received $4 million in funding, with $3 million from DHST, and the conversion of $1 million initial funding from Jeff Wasson, Gusto’s CEO. The site launch earlier this month. Wasson founded TravelNow.com, which was sold to Hotels.com for $47.4 million in 2001.”
